Upcoming Upgrades

As some of you may know from chatter in the discord server I am planning on doing some upgrades to the physical network here. I am moving from a very chaotic and messy setup which works but it’s just not the right way to do things these days for all the services we run here.

Currently I have the plan together for the physical wiring and most everything for this part of the project is already in place. I do have a few things on the way which should all be here and in place by Saturday. Sometime tomorrow evening or Friday I hope to have the rest of my plan together on how the networks vlans will be structured. This way when I finally get going I can have all services back up as quickly as possible.

I will attempt to post an update to this before anything happens to give a more specific time frame but the current plan is to be done on Saturday evening. If I do not get everything in place I will plan to do it another time and update you here on the site. This upgrade is being done to clean up a lot of chaos and make everything more secure. Thank you all for your support and belief in this system. All of our users who continue to use our service keeps me motivated to learn new ways to make everything work better and more securely.
