PBX Downtime for transition
At some time tonight I will be shutting down the PBX to move it’s storage to the main machine actually running the VM. Currently the machine holding the storage is having issues that cause the need for frequent reboots which in turn causes the PBX to need shutdown. To fix this problem I have setup a new PBX deployment on the main machine and everything will be transitioned later. No users need to do anything but wait for the lights to go orange and then green again. Everything will be prepared so that the transition will go as quickly as possible. The new PBX is already setup and only a few steps remain to make it operational. I will do my best to make it as quick as possible and I will attempt to do this between the hours of 8pm and 10pm EST. At some point in that time frame users may notice their lights on their phones going orange for a few moments while the transition takes place. Don’t panic but give it no more than 30 minutes and your lights should go back to green. If your phone stays disconnected for longer than 30 minutes then feel free to submit a support ticket and we will get on it. Sometimes during these transitions people who’s IP addresses had not already been added to the firewall could experience issues. Thank you all for your patience during this transition.
